个人简介
主要研究方向为可持续性科学(Sustainability Science)。目前主要致力于构建生态系统服务和人类福祉的定量指标,开展政策评估和规划(包括保护区规划,城乡规划,景观规划),以及通过系统模型了解政策干预影响生态系统服务和人类福祉的调控机理。对集体行动(collective action)在公共资源管理(如水资源管理,土地管理)中的作用,效应以及背后的政策调控机理也有着浓厚的兴趣。研究成果发表于国际著名科学杂志Science和PNAS等,主要包括(1)通过精巧的实验设计和分析对持续争论了一百多年的由2009年诺贝尔经济学奖获得者Elinor Ostrom提出的群体大小非线性效应假说给出了经验证明。并证实和阐明了群体大小如何影响集体行动和资源管理造成非线性效应的机理;(2)提出了一套新的量化人类对生态系统服务依赖度和人类福祉的方法,以及如何结合二者构建系统模型研究人与自然耦合关系的综合方法,并以实际案例展示了如何将这一套方法应用于局部尺度和区域尺度的研究和管理。研究成果多次被国际媒体报导,其中包括被Science杂志选为“Editors' Choice”并特别点评,被美国自然科学基金委网站头版作为“Breaking Story”和“Headlines”展示。
